The challenge?

Building a diverse and inclusive business in the UK security industry, traditionally seen as less progressive,  presents several challenges. These issues can feel tough to address due to fear of missteps or causing upset, but luckily, change is happening. I am passionate about guiding businesses in the private security sector on this journey.

Positive change requires buy-in from leadership and a long-term commitment even when progress is hard to measure.

How can I help?

I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and co-chair the Rainbow+ group for The Security Institute. This group has driven major success, including the private security industry's participation in Pride events nationwide.

I firmly believe that a diverse team enhances decision-making and problem-solving, fuels creativity, and deepens the way we think about our customers.

I would love to speak at your company events about the positive changes in our industry, the importance of building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and the long-term goal of attracting top talent to our sector.
